January 2010 Arrivals-Cycads
| Encephalartos natalensis
What is so special about this cycad? Well, this cycad was grown on the coast and has leaves with a very deep green color; the picture is very true to this cycad. The only cycad I have that is deeper green than this is an E. horridus x woodii (the woodii has the deepest green of all cycads, in my opinion). The caudex is a full 9", seedgrown, in a 20 gallon container, priced at $675.

Encephalartos longifolius, dual plant
Why settle for one when you can have two? This is the longifolius that starts out slightly green then develops into an incredible blue hue. There are two separate caudexes, seedgrown, in a 20 gallon container, 6.75" and 5", at a green longifolius price, $875. Of course, you can easily separate these and have two plants!
