Here is the last patch of cycads grown in our ground, dug around the end of June 2024. All of these cycads were planted 2007, that is, 17 years growing in the ground! Their size is smaller because 1) they were grown with some canopy under a Ficus tree and 2) they have grown 17 years, not 20-25 years. The cost is per caudex inches, so they are not expensive. There are 13 remaining from the initial 18.
=>Remember that buying cycads is like buying time. When you buy a two-gallon cycad, and put it into the ground, it will be 10 years before it is knee-high and 20-plus years before it is finished growing taller. When you buy a 17-year old cycad and place it in the ground, in full sun, it is approaching maturity and will ZOOM! Come visit and see their beauty and value. You will love these low-cost cycads!
